There have been some awesome skate and surf clothing releases this year and the Autumn and Winter ranges are looking to end the year with with a bang. Volcom, Paul Frank and Obey are 3 clothes companies that have been consistant through out 2008. Each clothing company has made the news at some point this year with either new brand directions or fresh looks. Here are some product reviews of some of the best the Autumn and Winter ranges have on offer.

Volcom is responsible for the distribution, marketing and designing of young men’s and women’s clothing, footwear, accessories and related products. As well as this they also endorse professional sports stars as well as running skate parks. Volcom Clothing includes the Volcom Snow, Stone, Girls, Organic and Creedler ranges all of which are made up of the typical Volcom t-shirts, jeans, jackets, sweatshirts and hooded sweatshirts. The Winter ‘08 collection is going to fly off the hangers with great clothing like the Neck Gator Snood, Neuron Bobble beanie hats, Jamie Lynn Pro Shell Snowboard coat and accessories such as the Volcom Organic V Co sock, which is made completely out of organic materials. The Volcom Clothing range of snow and streetwear is sure to be a safe bet if you want to look stylish in the snow this winter.

The Paul Frank Winter 2008 line is just as broad and varied as ever. The range features the Julius the Monkey logo along with his friends printed on to many of the Paul Frank clothing and accessories. Paul Frank have made some great new rock music inspired t-shirt prints like the Metal God t-shirt, Smashing Pete t-shirt and the Misfits inspired Julius Skull Decay hoody featuring Julius as the Misfits skull faced logo. Another Paul Frank brand is Small Paul, a line of clothing, accessories and toys for young children. The range is what you would expect with the usual array of t-shirts and trousers but also has plush toys of Paul Frank characters such as Julius, Bob and Worry Bear. Paul Frank are well known for their men and women’s retro watches. The Freedom of Choice, Patrol, Workin in a Coalmine and That’s Pep watches are fine examples of this.

The Obey Clothing Autumn 2008 line features the limited edition Public Enemy X Obey t-shirt and the M-65 coat, both of which are made up of Public Enemy album artwork. The women’s line of Obey clothing features a range of jeans called Kinky Love IV and Wild Side. The Kinky Love IV skinny jeans have solid bright denim while the Wild Side jeans have leopard print styles. Shepard Fairey and the Obey Clothing boys have done an excellent job this year, with some high profile clothing designs and street art being seen all over the world. Obey are sure to make more news in 2009 after a very high profile year for the clothing brand.
